# Overview

Solidex aims to address these challenges by leveraging the power of blockchain technology and introducing a novel investment model that combines real world assets with digital currency. By creating a seamless bridge between traditional finance and decentralized finance (DeFi), Solidex offers investors an opportunity to access and invest in US Treasury bonds using the stablecoin USDT.

Solidex provides a user-friendly platform where individuals can mint sUSDT, a non-rebasing token pegged to the value of the US Dollar. These sUSDT tokens represent ownership in a diversified portfolio of US Treasury bonds. The income generated by these bonds is captured in the form of sUSDT price appreciation.

By utilizing blockchain technology and smart contracts, Solidex ensures transparency, security, and efficiency in the investment process. This eliminates the need for intermediaries, reduces fees, and enables seamless global transactions, thereby democratizing access to US Treasury bonds and creating new opportunities for investors.

Solidex envisions a future where individuals from all walks of life can participate in the global bond market, benefit from stable returns, and have greater control over their financial assets. With its innovative approach, Solidex aims to revolutionize the investment landscape and unlock the potential of real world assets for the broader population.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://solidexofficial.gitbook.io/solidex-whitepaper/introduction/overview.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
